I would call Apple support or go through their website for an Apple Expert contact: http://www.apple.com/support/expert/
Sounds like your installation is having more issues than Apple Application Support

If applying the Apple Application Support MSI fails, I would back up your iTunes data (songs, etc), uninstall the program and reinstall the program. You can also open a case with Apple Support, they can walk you through the process.

I recently installed itunes 9 and I have windows XP And now every time I try to open itunes I get an application support was not found error one, telling me to reinstall itunes, which I have. I've also tried to extract the application support using WinZip. I still get the same error.

Bonjour,

Ensuite, Quick Time a marché !!!!

Well this method worked for me very well. Really thanks. Several times un-instal and install did not help as well including reboots.

There were several of the above mentioned file in the PC. Easier way to find the latest file was using Everything.

Just installed the latest version of this file and walla there it goes...

hi,

installing manually worked : you can open directly the "iTunesSetup.exe" with 7zip (freeware) "open archive" : and install everything :)

worked on Windows 7 Ultimate
